This pendant is an excellently carved of Chinese Dragon Ruyi. The Dragon is one the symbols of the Chinese Zodiac. The Chinese Dragon stands for strength, loyalty and longevity, also according to Chinese culture this Dragon Ruyi also symbolizes benevolence, prosperity and the successful renewal of life.The pendant is intricately detailed and has been hand carved by a well known Chinese fourth generation Master Jade Carver. This piece is from a private estate collection. The color of this pendant is gorgeous and Russet Jade with light Lavender Jade. The clarity of this Jade piece is excellent. The translucent quality is good.
