This pendant is an excellently hand carved Chinese happy Spider (Xi mu) pendant. The Chinese happy Spider symbolizes good luck, happiness, and wealth according to the Chinese culture. Chinese proverb says, the Xi mu spider comes down from heaven on his silk web to bring joy and happiness.The pendant has been hand carved with great detail and has been hand carved by a well known 5th generation Chinese Master Jade Carver. The color is a beautiful Russet and Butterscotch Jade. The color and clarity of this Jade piece is excellent. The translucent quality is also very good.
