This pendant is an excellently carved Chinese Dragon Ruyi. The Dragon is one the the Chinese Zodiac signs. The Chinese Dragon stands for strength, loyalty and longevity. According to Chinese culture this Dragon Ruyi also symbolizes benevolence, prosperity and the successful renewal of life. The pendant is intricately detailed and has been hand carved by a well known Chinese Master Jade Carver. This piece is from a private estate collection. The color of this Jade pendant is Gorgeous Light Lavender Jade. The translucent quality is good.
